Freelancer Responsibilities: Freelancers must deliver work in a professional and timely manner, consistent with industry standards and project specifications.
Client Responsibilities: Clients must provide clear project requirements and make payments per agreed-upon terms.
3. Services and Payments
Service Fees: Backlinker may charge service fees for the use of the platform. These fees are subject to change and will be disclosed to you before you engage in any paid services.
Payment Processing: Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize us to charge your payment method for fees and other amounts owed under these Terms.
Refunds: Refund policies vary depending on the project and the agreement between clients and freelancers. Backlinker may assist in dispute resolution but is not responsible for issuing refunds.
Intellectual Property
User Content: Users retain ownership of the content they post on the platform. By posting content, you grant Backlinker a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform.
Platform Content: Backlinker and its licensors retain all rights to the content and materials provided on the platform. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Platform without our prior written permission.
Privacy
Privacy Policy: Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information.
6. Limitation of Liability
No Warranty: The Platform is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Backlinker does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backlinker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Platform; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers; (c) any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted to or through the Platform; or (d) any user content or conduct of any third party on the Platform.
7. Termination
Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions on the Platform. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Platform.
Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms.
