Refund Policy


At Backlinker, we strive to ensure that our clients and freelancers have a positive experience on our platform. Our Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued and the process for requesting them.


1. Eligibility for Refunds

Service Non-Delivery: If a freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon services within the specified timeframe, clients may be eligible for a refund.


Poor Quality of Work: If the delivered work does not meet the agreed-upon specifications or quality standards, clients may request a revision or a partial/full refund, subject to review.


Mutual Agreement: Refunds can be issued if both the client and freelancer agree to terminate the project and refund the payment.


2. Refund Request Process


Contact the Freelancer: Clients should first contact the freelancer directly to resolve any issues with the project delivery or quality.


Submit a Refund Request: If the issue cannot be resolved directly, clients can submit a refund request to Backlinker. This request should include:


  • The project details and order number
  • The reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting evidence (e.g., communication logs, delivered work samples)

Review Process: Backlinker will review the refund request, including communication between the client and freelancer, and any provided evidence. This process may take up to 10 business days.


3. Refund Decisions


Partial Refunds: In some cases, clients may receive a partial refund if part of the services were delivered satisfactorily.


Full Refunds: Full refunds may be issued if the services were not delivered at all or were significantly below the agreed-upon standards.


No Refunds: Refunds may not be issued if the work was delivered according to the specifications and within the agreed timeframe, or if the refund request is deemed unreasonable.


4. Payment of Refunds


Refund Method: Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the transaction.


Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 7 business days to appear in the client's account, depending on the payment method and financial institution.


5. Dispute Resolution


Mediation: Backlinker encourages clients and freelancers to resolve disputes amicably through direct communication or mediation provided by Backlinker.


Final Decision: Backlinker's decision on refund requests is final and binding.


6. Changes to Refund Policy


Policy Updates: Backlinker reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
